When I took this photo, I knew the angle from under the entrance roof was unusual but somehow I really love this perspective. It adds something to the bright sunlight that draws your eyes toward the temple.

The temple looks so peaceful with the clear blue skies and green pines, but I was basically melting like a wax statue. I never knew Japan could be so hot, it had me craving for an umbrella too.
